Cold wave blue warning signal

Criteria: within 48 hours, the lowest temperature would drop by more than 8℃ and is less than or equal to 4 ℃, the average land wind can reach more than level 5; or the lowest temperature has dropped by more than 8 ℃, and was less than or equal to 4 ℃, the average wind force reached more than level 5, and may continue.
Defense guidelines:
1.The government and related departments shall make preparations for the cold wave according to their duties;
2.Pay attention to warm clothing;
3.Take certain protective measures for tropical crops and aquatic products;
4.Prepare for the wind.
Cold wave yellow warning signal

Criteria: within 24 hours, the lowest temperature would drop by more than 10℃ and is less than or equal to 4 ℃, the average land wind can reach more than level 6; or the lowest temperature has dropped by more than 10℃, and was less than or equal to 4 ℃, the average wind force reached more than level 6, and may continue.
Defense guidelines:
1.The government and related departments shall make preparations for the cold wave according to their duties;
2.Pay attention to warm clothing and take good care of the elderly , the weak and the sick;
3.Take protective measures against cold for livestock, poultry and tropical and subtropical fruits and related aquatic products and crops;
4.Prepare for the wind.
Cold wave orange warning signal

Criteria: within 24 hours, the lowest temperature would drop by more than 12℃ and is less than or equal to 0℃, the average land wind can reach more than level 6; or the lowest temperature has dropped by more than 12℃, and was less than or equal to 0℃, the average wind force reached more than level 6, and may continue.
Defense guidelines:
1.The government and relevant departments shall do well in emergency work of cold wave prevention according to their duties;
2.Pay attention to prevention of colds and warm keeping;
3.Take anti-frostbite and anti-freezing measures for agriculture, aquaculture and animal husbandry to minimize losses;
4.Prepare for the wind.
Cold wave red warning signal

Criteria: within 24 hours, the lowest temperature would drop by more than 16℃ and is less than or equal to 0℃, the average land wind can reach more than 6 levels; or the lowest temperature has dropped by more than 16℃, and was less than or equal to 0℃, the average wind force reached more than level 6, and may continue.
