of the National Disaster Reduction Commission, the Disaster Relief
Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the National Disaster
Reduction Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Characteristics of disasters in May
1.The rainstorm in Jiangnan and South China has caused disaster,
and the drought in the whole country has been significantly alleviated.
2.The south is frequently hit by wind and snow disasters,
with heavy casualties caused by geological disasters.
3.The seismic activity is relatively calm,
and the process of temperate storm surges is abnormal.
4.The growth rate of harmful organisms in forestry is slowing down,
and the situation of forest fires is stable.

while information on Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau is currently lacking.
