China Map Publishing House in February 2015. The authors are the Office
of the National Disaster Reduction Commission, the Disaster Relief
Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the National Disaster
Reduction Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Characteristics of disasters in July
1.The rainfall process is frequent and intense,
with heavy losses caused by floods and geological disasters.
2.The earthquake in Zhangxian County, Exian County,
Gansu Province has had a significant impact, resulting in heavy
casualties and frequent damage to buildings.
3.Continuous high temperatures and low rainfall in the south,
and rapid development of drought in Hunan and Guizhou provinces.
4.Typhoon losses are concentrated in Fujian and Guangdong,
with relatively light losses caused by wind, hail, and fire.
5.The phenomenon of repeated disasters is prominent,
and the disaster losses are severe.

while information on Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau is currently lacking.
