In 2015, a total of 449 important river and lake water functional areas in Songliao River Basin were evaluated to meet the standards of the water function areas and the main control items of the water function areas to limit the absorption of pollution. There were 173 functional areas which reached the standards, and the rate of reaching the standards was 38.5%, and there also were 244 functional areas which reached the standards, and the rate of reaching the standards was 54.3%.
In 2015, the water quality and nutrient quality of 22 main reservoirs in Songliao River Basin were evaluated. In the whole year, 16 reservoirs reached the II~III type standard, accounted for 72.7%; 5 reached IV~V type standard, accounted for 22.7%; and one V type reservoir, accounted for 4.6%. There are 8 middle nutritious reservoirs which accouting 36.4% and 14 eutrophication reservoirs, accouting 63.6%.
In 2015, 20 water sources in Songliao River Basin were evaluated. According to the qualified rate of monitoring frequency in the whole year, there were 14 water sources whose qualified rate exceeded 80%.
