In 2015, the water quality of the rivers in the Songliao River Basin was evaluated. The total water quality of the rivers in Songliao River Basin was middle class, and the evaluated length was 19517.2 km. I~III accounted for 65.1% of the total length, IV~V accounted for 22.2% and V for 12.7%.
In 2015, the monitoring and evaluation of 82 sections of 43 provinces (autonomous regions) and other important water bodies in Songliao River Basin were carried out. I~III accounted for 69.5% of the total length, IV~V accounted for 18.3% and V for 12.2%.
