Hail warning signals

Hail warning signals have two levels and are represented respectively by orange and red.

Hail orange warning signal

Criteria: possible hail weather within six hours and may cause hail disaster.

Defense guidelines:

1.The government and relevant departments shall do the emergency work of hail prevention according to their duties;

2.The meteorological department shall prepare for manual hail prevention measures and carry out the work by selecting the machines;

3.Outdoor pedestrians should take shelter in a safe place immediately;

4.Drive the poultry and livestock into places with roof shelters, and properly protect outdoor goods or equipment such as cars, which are vulnerable to hail;

5.Pay attention to the lightning hazards accompanied by hail weather.
