In dealing with the threats to the catastrophe, our country needs to strengthen the capacity building for catastrophe prevention. The main content is as follows:
Let the cities and regions in the catastrophe zone assess the potential catastrophe risk, and strengthen the catastrophe prevention ability selectively in view of the catastrophe risk level.
Let the government in all levels jointly formulate a national emergency plan to deal with the catastrophe, establish a joint operation command mechanism in the form of combination of bars and multiple disasters, and then, prepare for the reserve and transfer of emergency resources in the aspects of manpower, material resources and financial resources.
The state council and relevant departments shall be instructed to improve the early warning capacity of disasters as soon as possible, improve the capacity for disaster recovery and the level of assessment and finally, realize emergency information sharing between departments and regions.
The related local government should strengthen the disaster prevention work at the grassroots level, improve the public’s awareness of disaster prevention and the ability to save and rescue themselves, organize disaster prevention and emergency drill timely, formulate the code of conduct for disaster and at the same time ensure the society to be steady.
