West Lamulun River, the northern source of West Liao River, meaning "Yellow River" in Mongolian, historically called Raole water, Huang water, Tuhuzhen Water, Liao water, Daliao water, Juliu River, etc. In ancient books "Mister Lv's Spring and Autumn Annals" and "Huai nan zi" classified it as "one of the six great Chinese rivers", and in "commentary on the waterways classic" , the author also recorded it.
Originated in Da Xing'an Mountain Chifeng City Kishketeng banner at the north foot of 1420 meters above sea level of the white through, flowing through the Keshiketen banner, Wuniute banner, Linxi County, Balinyou Banner, Aru Korqin Banner. At the junction of Wengniute Banner and Naiman Banner and the Old Ha River, it became the West Liao River.
The main tributaries are Baicha River, Biliu River, Shaleng river, Weitang River, Chagan Mulun River, Shaoleng river.
