The distribution disciplinarian of Liaohe is branching, it is consists of two water systems: one is the East and West of Liaohe River, it flows the Shuangtaizi River into the sea by the Panjin River, the longth is 516 kilometers; the other is consists of the Hunge River andTaizige River,which are joined by Sanchahe, and flow to sea by the division between Panjin City and Yingkou City, the length is about 94 km.
The one of main tributaries of Liaohe River is Xiangshui Falls, it located in the LaoHa River at the junction of Aohan Banner and Weng Niute Banner, were divided into three levels of fall. Three loud noises, echoes from the two sides of the mountain wall, and sounds such as thunder and can be heard several miles away. It attracted the emperor who toured there at the moment , and he named it “jade falls” and wrote a poem carved on the cliff, which is still clearly visible.
Shaoleng River, with a length of about 204 km, originated in the Western Wengniute banner, is a tributary of West Lamulun River. Formerly its name in Mongolian is known as "Chun dubugaole", meaning "deep river" . And formerly its Mandarin name is known as the"Xiangshui River”, for a thundering waterfall formed in its river bed subsidence.
