On June 24, 2011, there was a huge hailstorm disaster in the area of Jialing town, Yangcheng County, Shanxi Province. The number of the disaster, the size of the hail is rare. The maximum diameter of the hail is 8 ~ 10 cm in diameter and it continues at least 10 minutes, some are longer, reached more than 40 minutes. All the houses were damaged and leaked. The area encountered crop failures and the economic losses caused by the disaster was more than 5270 yuan.
