Wind shear is a natural atmospheric phenomenon. It is a sudden change in wind speed in both horizontal and vertical directions. Wind shear is the major enemy that causes flight accidents, especially low air shear. The international aviation industry recognizes that low-altitude wind shear is an important risk factor for aircraft take-off and landing stage, and it is known as "invisible killer".
There are two types of wind shear: one is vertical wind shear, the other is horizontal wind shear. Vertical windshear refers to the severe change of wind speed and direction with height that is vertical to the ground. Strong vertical windshear can have a strong damage effect on bridges, high-rise buildings, aviation and cause collapse of the bridges, buildings, plane crash, such as malignant accidents, which has brought the serious influence to the human life security; Horizontal windshear refers to a sharp shift in the direction of the balance of the ground surface.
