This rainstorm was caused by the interaction of Typhoon No.7 that landing in the north area and the low pressure trough in westerly belt under a circulation circumstance of a steady blocking high from East Asian. There was a No.6 typhoon in the southwestern of the Western Pacific subtropical high moved westward, prompting the "subtropical high" to move northwestward to the Japanese area and enhancing it significantly, forming a radial high pressure dam with the Yakutsk high pressure. No.5 typhoon followed the leading air of "subtropical high" and then moved toward the northwest area, after landing in Fuzhou, it reached inland regions. At 8 o'clock on 25th and declined low pressure typhoon moved to 116.5°E, 32.5°N, then shifted toward the North. The low pressure of typhoon and the low-level southeast jet on the right front, provided water vapor and energy transmission conditions for a rainstorm, what's more, it combined with the low pressure above the North China area and south area of Liaoning province, resulting in a heavy rainstorm in west part of Liaoning province.
The rainstorm was the result of the interaction of "three belt" systems: typhoon, "subtropical high" and the cold and low pressure in westerly belt.
The torrential rain began around noon on 24th and continued to 26th, July, lasting 3 days. The rainfall area moved from the southwest toward the northeast, as well as the reduction of moisture.
