The authors are the Office of the National Disaster Reduction Commission, the Disaster Relief Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the National Disaster Reduction Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The scale of this map is 1:22000000.
Characteristics of disasters in August
1.The Northeast region has experienced the most severe flood disaster in recent years.
2.South China is frequently hit by typhoons.
3.The earthquake disaster window loss in the Liangnan region is relatively heavy.
4.Continuous high temperature and drought have caused disasters in many southern regions.
5.Heavy losses from wind and hail disasters, and heavy occurrence of forestry and biological disasters.
