Online map of annual precipitation distribution in China is from the atlas of China National Geographic Map, compiled by the China National Geographic Map editorial board, published by China Encyclopedia press in November 2011,, the scale in the map is 1 : 60000000, the picture shows the amount of precipitation in various regions of the country.

The 800 mm isoline is in the southeast edge of Huaihe Qinling Qinghai Tibet Plateau;the 400 mm isoline is in the south end of Daxinganling Zhangjiakou Lanzhou Lhasa Himalayas.The annual rainfall in the Tarim Basin is less than 50 millimeters, and some areas on the southern edge of the Tarim Basin are less than 20 millimeters. The average annual precipitation in Toksun of the Turpan Basin is only 5.9 millimeters, which is "dry pole" in China.Precipitation in some areas of southeastern China is more than 1600 mm, and mountainous areas in eastern Taiwan can reach more than 3,000 mm. The average annual precipitation in the northeast of the fire area is more than 6000 mm, and the maximum year is 8408 mm, which is China's "rain pole".
