Total import volume, also known as import trade volume or total import value, is the total amount of goods imported by a country from abroad in a certain period expressed in currency. It reflects the overall scale and development level of a country's foreign trade and is an important basis for studying a country's foreign trade and international balance of payments. This data set includes the import volume of Turkey's provinces from 2013 to 2021, which can be used as an important basis for economic analysis and decision-making, macroeconomic regulation and control, as well as important data for the study of foreign economic and trade development and international economic and trade relations. By comparing with export volume, it can be used to reflect the contribution of foreign trade to GDP and the changes of input-output of various sectors of national economy as well as the influence on the final destination of GDP.
