Achievement
In the past ten years, Prof. Lenges has cooperated with Chinese scientists to establish a set of geological disaster risk assessment and prevention and control system suitable for China based on European theories and experience, which has produced great benefits in disaster reduction. It has also trained more than 10 young and middle-aged teachers, more than 20 master and doctoral students and other outstanding young and middle-aged talents for China. In January 2015, it won the 2014 International Science and Technology Cooperation Award of the People's Republic of China.
