Work Experience
He graduated from Shandong University of Science and Technology (formerly Shandong Institute of Mining and Technology) with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in engineering in July 1991 and July 1994, respectively. He received a doctorate degree in geology engineering from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in August 2000. From September 2000 to June 2002, he was engaged in post-doctoral research at the Institute of Geomechanics, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, and then stayed in the office (during July to September 2013 as a visiting professor at Alberta University, Canada). Deputy Director, Director of the Science and Technology Department and Director of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry. In July 2016, he served as vice president and member of the Party Committee of China Geological Environment Monitoring Institute. In December 2017, he served as deputy director of the Tianjin Geological Survey Center and member of the Party Committee of the China Geological Survey. In August 2019, he served as director and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences.
Achievement
He has been engaged in the research of engineering geology and geological hazards for a long time. He has hosted more than 20 national or provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, published more than 140 papers in domestic and foreign journals, published 5 monographs, and won 3 national invention patents. Combined with national major engineering planning and construction, important research results have been achieved in complex engineering geological problems, seismic engineering geology and geological disasters. He has won three first prizes and two second prizes at the provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards, and won the sixth Huang Jiqing Youth Geological Science and Technology Award, the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences-Xinhualian Outstanding Contribution Award and the title of "National Model for Earthquake Disaster Relief" Selected as the first batch of leading scientific and technological innovation talents by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the first batch of outstanding geological talents by the China Geological Survey.
