Introduction
The Climate Policy Unit analyses the regulatory framework for the transition to a climate-friendly economy. The analysis takes into account the institutional and technical aspects of the selected sectors: (i) the development of electricity, wind and solar energy and the further development of domestic and European electricity markets; (II) Financing and incentives for industrial, climate-friendly and material production and use (III) and building and thermal retrofitting. Research methods include quantitative and qualitative analysis, modeling and evaluation. Research methods include early dialogue with stakeholders and collaboration within an international network of experts. Given the urgency of learning from earlier experiences, cross-country comparisons receive particular attention.
