There is no winter season throughout the year, and January to February is the coldest month, with an average temperature of 16 ℃ ~ 24 ℃;July to August is the month with the highest average temperature, 25 ℃ ~ 29 ℃.The west, south and Zhongsha Islands have a tropical marine climate, with no winter in the long summer and an average temperature of 26.5 °C throughout the year.The long-time sunshine hours in Hainan are 1750 ~ 2650 hours.The province's average annual rainfall is more than 1600 mm, and the rainfall season is unevenly distributed:The winter turns dry and the summer and autumn are rainy. The rainy season is from May to October, and the total rainfall accounts for 70% to 90% of the whole year. Tropical storms and typhoons in Hainan Province are not only frequent (8 to 9 times a year, up to 11 times), but also have a long season (May to November is the typhoon concentration season, with August to October being the heaviest period).
