The 0°C isotherm is roughly located on the Qinling-Huaihe River in the east, and turns along the east slope of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the west and ends in the vicinity of Gyantsi in the southwest. The temperature north of this line (including the north, the northwest inland, and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau) is below 0°C, of which the temperature in Mohe, Heilongjiang is below -30°C; the temperature south of this line is above 0°C, and the temperature in Sanya, Hainan 200°C or higher. Therefore, the south is warm, the north is cold, and the north-south temperature difference is the distribution of winter temperatures in China.
