China Agricultural Meteorological Disasters Autumn Cold Wave Times Online Map was derived from the National Agricultural Atlas of the People's Republic of China.

The cold wave is the main severe weather affecting China in the winter half year, referring to a wide range of strong cold air activities. Frost will appear in autumn, winter and spring. Frost means that the temperature of the air suddenly drops, and the surface temperature drops to below 0 °C, causing damage to crops and even death. Floods are natural disasters that occur frequently in China and cause serious losses. It occurs mostly in summer and autumn where precipitation is concentrated. It is one of the many disasters in the eastern plains of China. Drought is a natural disaster that has the greatest impact on China's agricultural production, the most common and the widest distribution. At the beginning of the summer, the Jianghuai area was often rainy and rainy. Because this time is the season when plums are ripe, so people used to call it "Meiyu".
