The online map of monsoon and non-monsoon regions of China are derived from the atlas of China National Geographic Map, prepared by the Editorial Committee of the China National Geographic Map, and published by China Encyclopedia Press in November 2011. The scale is 1: 60000000. The red arrows in the figure refer to the summer monsoon and the blue arrows refer to the winter monsoon.
Traditionally, China is divided into monsoon and non-monsoon regions with Daxinganling Mountains-Yin Mountain-Helan Mountain-Bayan Mingla Mountain-Gangdise Mountain as the boundary. The monsoon region is obviously affected by the summer monsoon, and the precipitation is abundant, mainly concentrated in summer. The non-monsoon region is restricted by the location of land and sea, topography, and other factors.
