Work Experience
From 1981 to 1982, he was engaged in Sino-US scientific and technological cooperation research in the United States for one year.From 1991 to 1997, he served as director of the Institute of Engineering Mechanics of the State Seismological Bureau.In 1994, he was elected as the first academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Achievement
Professor Xie Lili is the honorary director of the Institute of Engineering Mechanics of the China Earthquake Administration and the deputy director of the Science and Technology Committee of the China Earthquake Administration. It is also the main founder of China's strong earthquake observation and analysis. It has established the China Strong Earthquake Observatory Network and developed observation and analysis techniques suitable for the characteristics of Chinese instruments. Professor Xie Lili has published more than 150 papers, reports and research reports at home and abroad. 1993-1998 Presided over the National Natural Science Foundation's Eighty-Five Major Fund Project "Basic Research on Urban and Major Projects for Disaster Reduction", and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation's 95 major projects and national basic research planning projects. In 2000, he was invited to chair the conference of the National Natural Science Foundation's 15th Priority Support Field Seminar. In 2000, he was invited to make a special report at the 12th World Earthquake Engineering Conference. In 2001, China and the United States held a new century. The theme report was presented at the Earthquake Engineering Symposium and at the International Modern Building Technology Conference held in Hong Kong in 2002.
