Minjiang River, Fujian Province, China's largest river which flows into the sea (East China Sea)independently. Originated in Jianning ,the junction of Jiangxi and Fujian. three major tributaries called Jianxi and Fu Tunxi and Shaxi converge Nanping City nearby, named Minjiang. Through the coastal mountains to Nantai Island，Fuzhou, divided into two tributaries of the north and South, and complexed to the Luoxing tower for one, folding northeast out of Langqi Island into the East China Sea. Taking Shaxi as the source, a total length of 562 km, the basin area of 60,992 square kilometers, accounting for half of the province of Fujian province nearly.
In addition to the three main tributaries of tributaries，there are also the downstream Youxi, Gutianxi, Zhang Zhangxi.
