Daily global earthquake events are shown in a world map directly. Multiple servers are used to acquire data from USGS and store into the corresponding database. Users can get earthquake events’ attribute information as well in the map.
The global daily earthquake data is fetched via the API of USGS. Using LeafletJS to combine the data and MapBox tiles to generate the map view. When the app page opened, the daily real-time earthquake information could be visualized as the map services.
Users can view all the earthquake events distribution currently through the map view. When users click any coordinate point (map view), the earthquake information would be shown. The earthquake events attribute information includes earthquake magnitude, location and depth.
