Kenya is located in the east of Africa, the equator runs through the central part, and the East African Rift Valley runs through the north and south. On October 28, 2015, the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly re-elected a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, and Kenya was successfully elected for a term from 2016 to 2018.
