Education
In 1979, he received his bachelor's degree in radioactive mineral geology from the 3rd Department of Chengdu Institute of Geology. In July 1986, he received a master's degree in tectonic geology from the institute of geology, national seismological administration (graduate school of university of science and technology of China). In December 1989, he received his doctoral degree in tectonic geology from the Institute of Geology, State Seismological Administration (Graduate School of University of Science and Technology of China).
Work Experience
Since December 1989, he has been engaged in active tectonic research at the Institute of Geology, State Seismological Administration. From December 1996 to December 2018, he served as a researcher of active tectonics and deputy director of the Institute of Geology, China Earthquake Administration. Since January 2018, he has been a researcher and director of the Institute of Crustal Stress, China Earthquake Administration.
Achievement
1. Awarded Advanced Individual in Field Science and Technology by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2009. 2. Awarded National Excellent Scientific and Technological Worker by China Association for Science and Technology in 2010. 3. In 2014, he was selected into the first batch of "Ten Thousand Project Leading Talents" of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee.
