Abstract
This paper discusses the application and research of remote sensing technology in the investigation and evaluation of the geological disasters in Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, which is the "5.12" earthquake, and we use the remote sensing technology to study the geological disasters. The aerial image with high spatial resolution and the IKONOS image are selected as the data source. Based on the three-dimensional visualization technology, the multi-platform is used to exchange the human-computer interaction of the remote sensing image. Based on the field investigation and the existing research results and the analysis of the regional geological environment, The results show that the spatial distribution characteristics of the geological disasters in the study area are discussed.
