Work Experience
His research includes assessment of probabilistic ground shaking which incorporated and build on the ‘blue-skies’ research (i.e. the K-means research, this is an innovative approach for computer-driven selection of earthquake zones which eliminates much subjectivity) and at the same time He produced detailed ground shaking hazard maps using Monte Carlo Simulation which is an important and practical product for Pakistan. It is necessary to produce such maps to underpin advice on safe building regulation. Its application to Pakistan breaks new research ground. In addition to research in seismology, I have done work on geophysical methods of Seismic, Microseismic, Ground Penetrating Radar, magnetometer and resistivity imaging for archaeological and geological applications in Pakistan.
