Introduction
The Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) was established in 1872. More than 140 years later in 2016, the institute employs 240 people. DMI is an institution under the Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate and has an annual turnover of approx. 300 million Danish Kroners.They create and communicate knowledge about weather, climate and seas for the benefit of society.They help citizens, public authorities and private companies to transform knowledge into safety and growth.
