Asset depreciation or natural resource depletion and degradation were not deducted during calculation. The data is in current US dollars. The US dollar data for GDP is converted from various currencies using a single year's official exchange rate. For a few countries where the official exchange rate does not reflect the effective exchange rate used in actual foreign exchange transactions, alternative conversion factors are used.The current GDP of Libya in 2022 is 4.407 billion US dollars, ranking 93rd globally and 16th in Africa. According to predicted data, Libya's GDP will reach 4.630 billion US dollars in 2023 and 5.439 billion US dollars in 2028.
