Research Interests:
Chen Yong, Jiangsu Suqian people, a geophysicist, China academician of Academy of Sciences, the Third World Academy of sciences. Since 1992 IASPEI earthquake prediction and earthquake disaster committee chairman, International Seismological Center (ISC) executive director. In 1993 Chinese elected academician of Academy of sciences. In 2000 was elected as the Third World Academy of sciences. In 1998 by the HLHL science and technology award. The current deputy director of China geophysical society, deputy director of the Seismological Society of China.
In 2016, a full-time professor in the school of Earth Sciences and engineering Nanjing University.At the same time is the national disaster prevention and mitigation committee experts.
