Introduction
The establishment of mutual cooperation is one of the instruments of vital importance for the achievement of the institutional mission, especially in the area of risk management and monitoring of natural disasters. Cemaden has signed technical cooperation with intragovernmental institutions (organs and / or entities of the Federal Public Administration), intergovernmental organizations (state and municipal bodies and / or entities), parastatal institutions, and some private organizations. The established technical cooperation has specific objects, focusing mainly on the sharing of information, practices and local and regional experiences; the dissemination of innovations and multidisciplinary research; the realization of articulated actions, seeking a strategic approach for the elaboration and management of knowledge that can anticipate extreme events triggering natural disasters in vulnerable regions of Brazil.
