China Earthquake Administration is a public institution directly under the State Council, which is responsible for the administration of the national earthquake work and the authorization of the State Council for the administrative law enforcement of the People's Republic of China earthquake prevention and disaster reduction law.
China Earthquake Administration was founded in 1971, said the State Seismological Bureau, in 1998 changed its name to China Earthquake Administration.
