More rational use of water resources is needed in arid and semi-arid regions

Last year, Inner Mongolia was hit by severe drought, which accounted for more than 50 percent of its total area.And continuous high temperature and drought in Inner Mongolia, this year spring in the average temperature of 9.3 ℃, average 2.7 ℃ higher than the same period of history, the highest for the same period since 1961.At the same time, the precipitation is generally reduced. In areas with severe drought, the precipitation is 80% to 90% less than normal years, and there is almost no effective rainfall.
