General situation of forestry pest disasters.

In 2014, there were 11903.7 thousand hectares of forest pests in China (1.7% year-on-year decrease), 8407.9 thousand hectares of insect pests (4.4% year-on-year increase), 1380.1 thousand hectares of diseases (4.3% year-on-year decrease) and 2115.9 thousand hectares (5.7% Year-on-year decrease).

The total disaster area of each province (autonomous region and municipality directly under the central government) (thousands hectares):

The closer to the dark green area, the larger the total disaster area of each province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government).

The closer to the light green area, the smaller the total disaster area of each province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the central government).

Note: Forestry biological disasters by provinces did not contain foreign pests.
